About the role
- Support and oversee Lean Manufacturing initiatives, including workplace organization, standardized work, and waste elimination.
- Apply Continuous Improvement tools (Lean, Six Sigma, JJOS) to improve manufacturing efficiency, productivity, and quality.
- Perform capacity, cycle time, and productivity analyses to support base business performance and improvement opportunities.
- Support data analysis and reporting of key performance indicators to track operational performance against targets.
- Participate in cross‑functional improvement teams and contribute to problem‑solving and decision‑making activities.
- Facilitate process mapping and analysis to identify and eliminate non‑value‑added activities.
- Support development and maintenance of production performance dashboards.
- Communicate project progress, risks, and improvement opportunities to stakeholders and leadership.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable regulatory, quality, safety, and environmental requirements (GMP, ISO, FDA, internal policies).
- Perform additional duties as assigned in support of operational excellence objectives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required (Engineering, Science, or related technical discipline preferred)
- 2–4 years of overall professional experience
- Experience or exposure to Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma methodologies preferred
- Demonstrated analytical and statistical problem-solving skills
- Working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement principles
- Ability to analyze data and translate findings into actionable improvement opportunities
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills within team environments
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Proficiency with standard business and analytical tools (e.g., Excel, data visualization tools; Minitab preferred)
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt (preferred)
