About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support and oversee Lean Manufacturing initiatives, including workplace organization, standardized work, and waste elimination.
  • Apply Continuous Improvement tools (Lean, Six Sigma, JJOS) to improve manufacturing efficiency, productivity, and quality.
  • Perform capacity, cycle time, and productivity analyses to support base business performance and improvement opportunities.
  • Support data analysis and reporting of key performance indicators to track operational performance against targets.
  • Participate in cross‑functional improvement teams and contribute to problem‑solving and decision‑making activities.
  • Facilitate process mapping and analysis to identify and eliminate non‑value‑added activities.
  • Support development and maintenance of production performance dashboards.
  • Communicate project progress, risks, and improvement opportunities to stakeholders and leadership.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable regulatory, quality, safety, and environmental requirements (GMP, ISO, FDA, internal policies).
  • Perform additional duties as assigned in support of operational excellence objectives.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree required (Engineering, Science, or related technical discipline preferred)
  • 2–4 years of overall professional experience
  • Experience or exposure to Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma methodologies preferred
  • Demonstrated analytical and statistical problem-solving skills
  • Working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement principles
  • Ability to analyze data and translate findings into actionable improvement opportunities
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills within team environments
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Proficiency with standard business and analytical tools (e.g., Excel, data visualization tools; Minitab preferred)
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt (preferred)
