About the role

  • Lead sales activities that would result in customer and patient satisfaction while exceeding sales goals and objectives
  • Implement and carry out selling strategies and strategic sales plans
  • Recruit, hire, and retain a diverse group of individuals within their region
  • Ensure team is leveraging available market data tools for customer targeting, business planning, and pipeline management
  • Provide ongoing performance management, mentorship, and career development of sales team
  • Drive business results by working closely with consultants to set and achieve territory objectives
  • Assume a lead role in the territory in acquisition of new accounts and surgeon relationships

Requirements

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent in an applicable field such as Business, Marketing, Finance
  • An MBA is preferred
  • At least 8 years of relevant business and/or leadership experience is required
  • Minimum of 2 years of management experience, coaching, or mentoring others
  • Previous experience and track record of success in the Foot & Ankle market preferred
  • Participation in a Sales Leadership Development Program is preferred
  • Excellent listening, written & oral communication skills
  • Good organizational skills along with the ability to make impactful sales presentations
  • Strong Customer Understanding
  • Demonstrated leadership capability including the ability to lead through change.
  • Clinical and procedure excellence, product expertise and new product introduction experience
  • Demonstrated ability to mentor and develop field sales talent
  • Track record of success working within a complex organizational environment
