About the role

  • Oversee and manage the J&J IM North America Sales Excellence team, part of the Learning Excellence Organization.
  • Lead a team to drive capabilities and programs and establish and drive end to end strategy and priorities for Sales Excellence.
  • Shape and lead efforts that drive Sales excellence, competitiveness, distinguished customer engagement, and business impact
  • Work strategically across the organization as a Sales subject matter expert
  • Oversee a team of Learning Business Partners (LBPs) and Program Managers (PMs) within J&J IM North America Learning Excellence Sales Excellence capability
  • Lead collaboration to understand cross-TA / business learning needs and market shifts impacting J&J IM North America Learning Excellence Sales Excellence capability strategy and priorities for COE Strategic Responsibilities.
  • Partner with HR and Senior Leadership on strategic initiatives related to talent strategy and training for Field Sales teams that complements capability building for demand teams.
  • Create and implement J&J IM Learning Excellence L&D organizational learning performance impact measurement strategy and standards for Sales Excellence.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree; Masters in Learning Preferred
  • 10+ years industry experience, with a minimum of 5 years in people management required
  • Sales Subject Matter Expertise required
  • Strong understanding of learning and development required
  • Diversity in prior commercial roles (sales, sales leadership, acct mgt, marketing, etc.) is preferred
  • Previous experience leading Learning Organizations preferred
  • Experience leading learning transformations preferred
  • Experience leading in a matrixed environment preferred
