About the role
- Oversee and manage the J&J IM North America Sales Excellence team, part of the Learning Excellence Organization.
- Lead a team to drive capabilities and programs and establish and drive end to end strategy and priorities for Sales Excellence.
- Shape and lead efforts that drive Sales excellence, competitiveness, distinguished customer engagement, and business impact
- Work strategically across the organization as a Sales subject matter expert
- Oversee a team of Learning Business Partners (LBPs) and Program Managers (PMs) within J&J IM North America Learning Excellence Sales Excellence capability
- Lead collaboration to understand cross-TA / business learning needs and market shifts impacting J&J IM North America Learning Excellence Sales Excellence capability strategy and priorities for COE Strategic Responsibilities.
- Partner with HR and Senior Leadership on strategic initiatives related to talent strategy and training for Field Sales teams that complements capability building for demand teams.
- Create and implement J&J IM Learning Excellence L&D organizational learning performance impact measurement strategy and standards for Sales Excellence.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree; Masters in Learning Preferred
- 10+ years industry experience, with a minimum of 5 years in people management required
- Sales Subject Matter Expertise required
- Strong understanding of learning and development required
- Diversity in prior commercial roles (sales, sales leadership, acct mgt, marketing, etc.) is preferred
- Previous experience leading Learning Organizations preferred
- Experience leading learning transformations preferred
- Experience leading in a matrixed environment preferred
