About the role
- Create, manage and evaluate the Abiomed fellowship program strategy
- Support the Physician Program Directors initiatives and activities related to fellowship physicians and programs
- Manage a team of Fellowship Program Managers
- Build relationships by working closely with fellowship programs and multiple stakeholders
- Develop, execute and assess effectiveness of fellow education programs offered by Abiomed
- Create metrics to evaluate the impact of programs and fellowship program engagement
- Develop processes to assess effectiveness, outcomes, and return on investment of programs via direct and indirect feedback
- Ensure training meets key learning objectives for Fellows
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or Science related field
- 7-10+ years of experience in the field of Cardiology in a sales, clinical and/or professional education customer-facing role
- Experience with fellowship programs and fellowship directors highly preferred
- Advanced clinical understanding of cardiology, specific to mechanical circulatory support
- Demonstrated ability to have challenging discussions with key physicians to modify behaviors and promote best training practices
- Experience handling large quantities of data, including collection and analysis
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills
- Ability to give written and verbal feedback to direct reports and peers
- 2+ years of people leadership experience and/or training
