About the role
- Delivers expert level in-service and surgical support for Physicians and Surgical Staff on the use of the JNJ MedTech ophthalmic equipment platforms
- Coordinates and executes clinical training for end user clinicians on use of cataract surgery products
- Acts as a liaison and key resource for customers and eye care professionals regarding product clinical implementation and troubleshooting performance issues
- Performs safety reporting data coordination, collection, management and reports results clearly and accurately
- Leverages extensive clinical ophthalmic experience to act as a liaison and key resource for customers and eye care professionals regarding product performance issues
- Works closely with sales and service counterparts in assigned geography to ensure customers’ clinical needs are met
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university OR equivalent experience
- CST/COA/COT/COMT/CCOA is preferred
- Previous Operating Room experience is required
- 5+ years of medical device clinical/technical experience is required
- Ophthalmology experience is required
- The ability to work independently, as well as part of a team, and support company goals and sales objectives, is required
- The ability to travel (up to 75%), which will include overnight, and potentially occasional weekends
- A valid driver's license issued in the United States
