About the role

  • Lead and oversee the entire project lifecycle, from conception through closeout, ensuring projects deliver scope, quality, and safety standards on time and within budget.
  • Provide proactive communication to stakeholders via Sponsor and Steerco updates, ensuring transparency and alignment across all levels.
  • Coordinate project-related activities, including design, execution, and closeout, working closely with project controls leads, project managers, and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to resolve program conflicts and address potential issues proactively.
  • Manage customer interactions, project portfolio delivery aligned with KPIs, and contractor relationships to ensure seamless execution.
  • Drive the implementation of best practices and continuous improvement initiatives across projects and regions.
  • Oversee multiple projects or a regional portfolio, ensuring consistent delivery and adherence to organizational standards.
  • Foster engagement with stakeholders and promote a collaborative approach to project management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture or Construction Management from an accredited institution is required.
  • A minimum of 10 years of progressive leadership experience in engineering, project management, or manufacturing within regulated environments, with a strong emphasis on strategic oversight and team leadership.
  • Proven experience in managing multiple large-scale projects or portfolios, with the ability to prioritize and align efforts with organizational goals.
  • Demonstrated expertise in financial planning, budget management, and resource allocation, including development of business plans and financial forecasts.
  • Manufacturing experience in FDA-regulated environments, including design, startup, and operational phases.
  • Strong leadership skills with a track record of guiding cross-functional and cross-regional teams, fostering collaboration, and driving results.
  • Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements relevant to manufacturing and engineering operations.
  • Familiarity with JNJ systems such as IDEA, FPX, and OneCSS.

  • Work, Personal and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar year
  • Parental Leave – 480 hours within one year of the birth/adoption/foster care of a child
  • Bereavement Leave – 240 hours for an immediate family member: 40 hours for an extended family member per calendar year
  • Caregiver Leave – 80 hours in a 52-week rolling period
  • Volunteer Leave – 32 hours per calendar year
  • Military Spouse Time-Off – 80 hours per calendar year
