About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Providing clinical support to ensure the efficient operation of the East Brunswick location.
- Supporting doctors and patients through a variety of tasks related to patient care management.
- Taking and recording vital signs and EKGs.
- Preparing patients for examinations.
- Obtaining and updating patient medication lists and giving injections.
- Authorizing prescription refills as directed by physicians.
- EMR, rooming patients, clerical work, if needed.
- Willing to travel to other locations.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Medical Assistant Certification required.
- Proven working experience as a medical assistant.
- Knowledge of medical office management systems and procedures.
- Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational and planning skills.
- Willing to travel to other locations as needed.
