About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Perform high-quality ultrasound exams and corresponding reports of the patient’s anatomy
- Explain the procedure and assist patients with transferring to the ultrasound table
- Operate and adjust ultrasound equipment for quality images
- Report any malfunctioning equipment to management in a timely manner
Requirements
What you’ll need- Associates degree required
- Minimum of one year of experience performing diagnostic abdominal ultrasound studies
- American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) board certification required
- BLS certification is required
