About the role

  • Serve as primary relationship owner for FIS (credit card processing platform)
  • Establish and evolve a structured engagement model for tactical execution and strategic alignment
  • Lead development of a joint roadmap with FIS aligned to Cards program goals
  • Design and implement vendor oversight program (ticketing, issue resolution, performance metrics, SLAs, quarterly scorecard)
  • Collaborate with Cards IT/Engineering and Product to define and operationalize change and control processes
  • Own end-to-end invoice management for FIS and Mastercard and ensure billing transparency and dispute management
  • Analyze service cost structures to identify drivers and recommend operational or contractual cost reductions
  • Support Mastercard partnership for invoicing, performance tracking, and stakeholder alignment
  • Partner with internal teams (Cards Product, IT, Finance, Legal) and act as escalation point for vendor issues

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, Finance, or related field
  • MBA or equivalent preferred
  • 10+ years of experience in vendor management, strategic sourcing, or operations leadership
  • Proven experience managing complex vendor relationships, preferably in financial services or fintech
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret cost structures and identify optimization opportunities
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
