About the role

  • Manage a book of 50 + small group clients (10–50 lives), handling 4–6 renewals per month from strategy through execution
  • Partner with leadership on renewal strategy, including marketing decisions, carrier negotiations, and client recommendations
  • Lead open enrollment processes, including benefit education, enrollment support, and coordination through platforms like Employee Navigator
  • Provide ongoing client support throughout the year, including eligibility updates, policy changes, audits, and general service needs

Requirements

  • Active Health & Life insurance license (Florida required)
  • 3+ years of employee benefits experience, ideally supporting small group clients
  • Strong understanding of fully - insured and level-funded plans, renewals, and open enrollment processes
  • Comfortable managing a high-volume book with strong attention to detail and client service
  • Must be very organized
