About the role
- Gather applications from carrier(s) and send to clients
- Instruct employers how to complete required paperwork
- Scrub forms then send to carrier(s) for implementation
- Communicate final approval from the carrier to the client
- Provide specific notation and descriptions of calls in CRM and track all email correspondence
- Build and maintain rapport with carrier contacts
- Adhere to confidentiality and HIPAA guidelines
Requirements
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to relate to people of all levels and personalities
- Must be self-motivated and disciplined with the ability to thrive in fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor's degree, preferred
- Experience at carrier, general agency or brokerage in a benefits support role, preferred
- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word and Outlook, required
- Knowledge of health and ancillary insurance products and benefit plan designs, preferred
- Familiarity with database applications, a plus
- Health & Life License, preferred
