About the role

  • Manage intake of new workers’ compensation claims across assigned jurisdictions.
  • Perform initial claims investigations and coordinate timely communication between PEO clients and the third-party administrator (TPA).
  • Oversee ongoing claims activity, providing strategic guidance to adjusters and escalating complex cases when appropriate.
  • Maintain consistent, proactive communication with clients regarding claim status, updates, and next steps.
  • Support and execute departmental initiatives, reporting on outcomes and effectiveness.
  • Review claim resolution plans and properly request authority in alignment with internal guidelines.
  • Demonstrate working knowledge of workers’ compensation laws, best practices, and claims management procedures.

Requirements

  • 0–2 years of experience in workers’ compensation, claims, risk management, insurance, or a related field.
  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Risk Management or a related discipline preferred.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients, adjusters, and internal partners.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills, with the ability to balance multiple priorities.
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining high accuracy and accountability.
