About the role
- Responsible for driving sales performance and overall market growth
- Lead the North Central Market sales team to achieve revenue goals
- Collaborate with regional and national leadership to develop annual market growth plan
- Own responsibility for achieving organic and net growth targets
- Clearly communicate sales goals, expectations, and progress to the team
- Monitor performance using data-driven insights, course-correct in real time
- Actively mentor producers and sales team members through consistent coaching
- Partner with field leadership to advance new business opportunities
- Proactively recruit and cultivate high-performing sales talent
- Analyze local market trends, competitive positioning, and emerging opportunities
- Lead weekly accountability meetings to review performance metrics
- Partner with local and national marketing teams to shape market brand strategy
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred
- 10+ years of proven sales leadership experience
- Proficient in all Microsoft Office products
- Ability to influence colleagues without direct reporting lines
- Possess strong verbal, nonverbal and written communication skills
- Skilled at asking good questions and active listening
- Networking - internal and external
- Ability to effectively handle multiple and changing business, colleague and market priorities and deadlines
- Ability to effectively present data
- Possess excellent interpersonal and social skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast paced environment
