💰 $79,500 - $132,500 per year

About the role

  • Provides timely and accurate support to client companies and Claims department.
  • Assesses employability and promotes restoration of function to facilitate return to work.
  • Initiates and facilitates case management and ancillary services for optimal outcomes.
  • Conducts comprehensive return-to-work assessments with action plans supported by cost benefit analyses.
  • Partners with Claims associates to determine assistance extent based on various factors.
  • Provides vocational counseling assistance and refers for SSDI eligibility guidance.
  • Acts as Team Resource by answering functionality and employability questions.
  • Provides clear vocational recommendations for goals at team meetings.
  • Directs vendor services and ensures service quality.
  • Educates customers about vocational rehabilitation services and benefits.
  • Documents claims and maintains clear, professional records.

Requirements

  • Must possess training and experience consistent with professionals in the rehabilitation, or related field.
  • Vocational Rehabilitation Counselors must have a master’s degree in a field related, but not limited to, Rehabilitation.
  • Must possess or obtain, if necessary, a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC) and/or Certified Vocational Evaluator (CVE) professional designation.
  • Or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background
