About the role
- Manage transformation and optimization initiatives and apply existing, new and emerging technologies to transform and optimize the business and operating model.
- Lead the Enterprise Architecture practice and initiatives to enable the organization to better respond to business units and customer needs.
- Drive enterprise architecture programs, frameworks, guiding principles, and maintain technology standards and design best practices.
- Ensure solutions are secure, scalable, and maintainable, meeting the organization's long-term objectives.
- Facilitate business and IT alignment, connecting strategy to execution and balancing innovation and growth.
- Translate business strategy into implementation roadmaps for enterprise architecture.
- Analyze business and operating models, market trends, and technology industry impacts to inform technology strategy and direction.
- Maintain and evangelize technology standards and guidelines; identify application and technology rationalization opportunities.
- Promote modern technical and design best practices and act as a visionary for architectural direction.
- Drive technology and architecture standards, reference architectures, and design patterns for enterprise digital applications.
- Conduct architecture reviews ensuring technical, functional and non-functional requirements are covered and adhere to technology standards.
- Architect and document technical blueprints for enterprise web and mobile applications, detailing system architecture, data models, integration interfaces, and technical configurations.
- Guide and mentor solution architects and technology teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in related field (e.g., Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology) or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
- 10+ years of experience in IT and business/industry including strategic and operations planning.
- 2-5 years conducting focused architecture work (strategic visioning, developing artifacts, road-mapping, continuous improvement, solutioning, influencing and facilitating architecture decisions, coaching teams and people).
- Architecting enterprise-scale web and mobile applications, APIs and microservices.
- Experience in DevOps and Agile technology environments.
- Experience with enterprise platforms like Salesforce.
- Advanced knowledge of system development life cycle (SDLC) methodologies (e.g., agile, rapid prototyping, incremental, synchronize and stabilize and DevOps).
- Experience architecting highly trafficked customer-facing web and mobile applications, cloud-native, performant and highly available with minimum RPO & RTO.
- Familiarity with AI/ML, Gen AI, Agentic AI and their applicability in delivering exceptional user experiences.
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and lead cross-functional teams, with the ability to communicate with business stakeholders and work with outsourced environments.
- Proven ability to mentor and support development of teammates by sharing knowledge and experience.
