About the role
- Own end-to-end payroll processing for full-time employees, exempt and hourly, across all global entities.
- Ensure timely and accurate payroll cycles (bi-weekly, semi-monthly, monthly) across multiple jurisdictions.
- Own payroll setup for new hires and ensure all employee changes are processed.
- Manage payroll administration through Employer of Record (EOR) providers across global jurisdictions.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable wage and hour regulations, payroll tax registration and filing requirements globally.
- Drive payroll controls and documentation; serve as the payroll compliance owner.
- Perform pre- and post-internal payroll audits, prepare reconciliations, and conduct payroll variance analysis.
- Partner with Accounting to support month-end close processes, including creating and maintaining payroll and benefits journal entries.
- Lead process improvements to increase accuracy, scalability, and automation of payroll workflows.
- Collaborate closely with HR, Finance, Legal, and internal stakeholders to ensure a seamless employee experience.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, HR, Business Administration, or related field with 10+ years’ experience
- Deep knowledge of global payroll operations and compliance (USA, APJ, EMEA and LATAM)
- Preferable experience operating in complex multi-state and multi-country environments
- Working knowledge of payroll accounting principles
- Hands-on experience with modern payroll and HRIS systems such as ADP, Workday, Dayforce or similar
- Demonstrated ability to operate with high ownership in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities, sound judgment, and exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
