About the role
- Identify and qualify prospective clients across targeted regions and sectors
- Actively source leads via cold outreach, inbound inquiries, events, referrals, and CRM tools
- Pitch Onafriq’s core offerings (Cards, Remittance, Enterprise Solutions) to potential clients
- Work closely with senior sales and product teams to tailor solutions to client needs
- Maintain accurate lead and opportunity data in the CRM system
- Support onboarding of new clients and ensure a smooth handover from sales to operations
- Build and maintain relationships with existing clients to ensure satisfaction and retention
- Conduct regular check-ins to identify upselling or cross-selling opportunities
- Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, product, operations, and compliance teams
- Provide regular updates on sales performance, pipeline health, and customer feedback
- Contribute insights from the field to help improve product-market fit and go-to-market strategies
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Banking & Finance, Business, Marketing, or a related field
- 1–3 years of experience in sales, business development, or account management—preferably in fintech, financial services, or SaaS
- Proven track record in lead generation and meeting sales targets
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with digital payments, remittance, cards, or enterprise fintech solutions is a plus
- Proficient in CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce) and Microsoft Office / Google Workspace
