About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Perform and coordinate monthly, quarterly, and yearly closing activities for assigned companies under IFRS, Local GAAP, and internal accounting guidelines
- Prepare, review, and post complex accounting transactions, reconciliations, accruals, provisions, and other closing entries
- Prepare and report monthly and quarterly IFRS reporting packages for Group consolidation
- Coordinate preparation, audit, and filing of annual statutory financial statements
- Support external and internal audits with documentation, analyses, and explanations
- Act as accounting focal point for assigned companies and support business, controlling, tax, and finance stakeholders
- Define and coordinate IFRS and Local GAAP accounting treatments for complex transactions and business events
- Prepare and align accounting position papers and accounting memos
- Monitor compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, and company policies
- Support and drive accounting process improvement, digitalization, and automation initiatives within Finance
Requirements
What you’ll need- Master’s degree in Economics, Business Administration, or Accounting
- More than 7 years of relevant professional experience
- Solid knowledge of and experience in Local GAAP and IFRS accounting and reporting
- SAP experience
- Profound knowledge of MS Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- Ability to work in teams and handle complex accounting subjects, processes, and projects
- High individual responsibility and independence when collaborating with Management and Stakeholders
- Fluency in English
