About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Account for the roadmap, delivery, and operational excellence of all B2B sales and marketing applications for OMV Group.
  • Steer delivery of digital platforms and services supporting customer engagement, loyalty, payments, and retail innovation.
  • Lead solution architecture, technical design and implementation of the applications and integrations.
  • Ensure compliance with PCI-DSS, data privacy, and information security requirements.
  • Drive advanced analytics and AI adoption for customer personalization, dynamic pricing, and digital campaign optimization.
  • Oversee incident and release management for business-critical customer-facing systems.
  • Manage supplier relationships and contracts for retail IT solutions.
  • Support strategic and operational budgeting and manpower planning.
  • Coach and develop high-performing product teams at OPGS IT.
  • Tailor consulting services to sales and marketing leadership at OMV Petrom.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Master’s degree in IT, Engineering, Marketing or related discipline.
  • >9 years of relevant professional experience including leadership in retail IT, payments or customer-facing digital platforms.
  • Minimum 5 years of leadership experience in management of international projects/teams.
  • Excellent expertise in POS, payments, loyalty, CRM and mobile retail platforms.
  • Excellent cloud platform knowledge, API-first architectures and AI/analytics for personalization.
  • Advanced understanding of information security, PCI-DSS and data privacy requirements.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and supplier governance capabilities.
  • Fluent in English; German/Romanian is an advantage.
