About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Handle and follow-up orders from order creation to invoicing to meet customer needs;
- Assist Borealis General Sales Manager in sales planning and process by collating data;
- Handle and follow up export documents to assure timely customs clearance;
- Keep customer file updated with latest commercial information;
- Handle complaints and customer requests, providing information, appropriate solutions and alternatives within time limits;
- Ensure registration and customer communication according to standards;
- Process and maintain complex customer-related master data including contracts;
- Process and track various customer requests and contracts fulfillments;
- Place, cancel, or adjust orders;
- Pro-actively follow-up order income;
- Handle high volume requests coming via email, phone, portal, etc.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s Degree: Business Administration or similar;
- Relevant professional experience: 2-3 years after Bachelor;
- Proven customer support experience or experience as a client service representative;
- Track record of over-achieving objectives;
- Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening;
- Familiarity with CRM systems and practices;
- Customer orientation and ability to adapt/respond to different types of characters;
- Good customer service experience in managing maritime/export processes (logistics, including booking, documentation, and customs clearance processes) is considered an advantage;
- MS office + SAP/other IT relevant systems (advantage);
- Advanced in English;
- Other language skills: Spanish, French, Italian or any Eastern European languages is an advantage.
