About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Scale, innovate, identify efficiencies and suggest AI-powered improvements to existing legal processes
Develop detailed process documentation for various AI and technology processes
Drive AI-based process automation and system integrations across legal technology platforms
Support and facilitate various AI projects and initiatives across the Legal Department
Help define and maintain the Legal Department’s AI vision, strategy, maturity model, and roadmap
Lead AI use case selection across key legal workflows
Drive CLM strategy and enhancement roadmap
Evaluate and manage the legal AI vendor landscape
Establish and maintain AI governance, oversight, and risk management frameworks
Define and track AI economics for the Legal Department

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
Extensive experience both using and building AI-driven solutions to scale the legal function
8+ years of experience in project management and driving legal technology projects
Proven ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
High level of integrity, professionalism, and discretion in handling confidential information
Deep familiarity with the legal AI vendor landscape
Demonstrated experience designing and implementing AI governance and oversight frameworks
Strong understanding of core legal department workflows
