About the role
- Lead, inspire, and develop a high-performing sales team
- Develop and implement a regional sales strategy
- Provide guidance, coaching, and support to maximize team performance
- Oversee the management of the sales pipeline
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers
- Manage the regional sales budget
- Partner cross-functionally with Marketing, Solution Engineering, Customer Success, and Channel teams
- Present sales performance and market insights in Quarterly Business Reviews
- Monitor market trends, competitive activities, and customer feedback
- Prepare and present sales forecasts, reports, and performance metrics
- Attract and retain high-quality talent to the organization
- Utilize sales tools and processes to manage sales opportunities
Requirements
- Minimum of 10-12 years of experience in technology sales
- at least 8 years in a leadership role within the SaaS/tech industry
- strong knowledge of the target account landscape
- proven track record supporting the U.S. Federal Civilian market
- demonstrated experience working with Federal Systems Integrators (FSIs)
- demonstrated success in achieving and exceeding sales targets
- excellent analytical, forecasting, and strategic thinking skills
- excellent communication and executive-level presentation skills
- exceptional leadership and coaching skills
- expertise in value-based selling and consultative sales methodologies
