About the role

  • Ensure that Experience teams can set up and manage their datastores autonomously
  • Building self-service and introduce standards for Experience teams to manage their Cloud resources - share knowledge and best practices
  • Look after and scale observability stack - Prometheus, Thanos, Grafanalabs Loki and Grafanalabs Tempo
  • Experiment with new stack elements or services
  • Ensure that Kubernetes cluster running ~400 microservices is stable and scalable.

Requirements

  • Hands-on experience with any datastore (preferably MongoDB, PostgreSQL, mySQL, Redis)
  • Understanding and knowledge of IaaS (Terraform, Ansible, etc.)
  • Experience with building CI/CD pipelines
  • Knowledge of cloud services (any major cloud provider, preferably GCP)
  • Good knowledge of Linux (Ubuntu, Debian)
  • Experience with Kubernetes
  • Software development knowledge with Golang (huge plus).
