Director, Digital PR

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Vision & Ownership: Develop and own the Digital PR service line, ensuring it aligns with high-level client business goals and Omniscient’s growth trajectory.
- Innovation: Lead the planning and execution of multi-channel PR campaigns across US, UK, and global markets, staying at the bleeding edge of **AI search and SEO.**
- Operational Excellence: Oversee budget planning, resource allocation, and performance forecasting for the department.
- Content Orchestration: Work with Editorial and Research leads to amplify "Original Research" assets, turning data into headlines and high-authority backlinks.
- Mentorship: Build out, manage and coach a team of PR specialists, fostering a culture of high-stakes ownership and experimentation.
- Scaling: Build the hiring roadmap, lead recruitment, and design the onboarding/training processes to maintain quality as the department grows.
- Growth: Conduct performance reviews and develop professional growth plans for your team members.
- Strategic Consulting: Lead client consulting calls, acting as the subject matter expert on PR strategy and its impact on organic growth.
- Relationship Management: Partner with CMOs and Marketing Directors to define goals and solve complex strategic challenges.
- Define and monitor KPIs to ensure client satisfaction and long-term retention.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Experience: You have **7+ years** of experience in Digital PR, with at least **3+ years in a senior leadership or Director-level role** within an agency environment.
- Proven Results: You have a track record of delivering high-impact campaigns for B2B or SaaS brands.
- Executive Presence: You are comfortable working with C-suite executives and can communicate complex strategies with clarity and authority.
- Decision Maker: You have a bias toward action. You make great decisions quickly, knowing you can iterate and improve as you scale.
- Adaptable: You thrive in the "gray area" of a growing agency. You are agile and don't need a rigid manual to get things done.
- Tech Savvy: You are proficient with BuzzStream, Cision, Ahrefs, and emerging AI tools.
