Collections Superintendent

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead the end-to-end collections strategy and operations, responsible for the entire vehicle credit recovery lifecycle, ensuring operational efficiency, economic sustainability, digital evolution and consistent recovery results.
- Define strategy, collections policies and agent incentive programs; own governance of processes and the collections cadence; run alignment and review rituals with the executive board.
- Ensure accountability for KPIs; sponsor campaign modeling, efficiency simulations and collections metrics.
- Own the collections cadence (retail and corporate) and orchestrate multichannel communications across pre- and post-default stages; be responsible for procedural execution (credit bureau reporting, extrajudicial notifications, etc.).
- Define portfolio allocation, bonus/incentive policies, parameters for external portals and portfolio acquisition strategy.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Proven executive leadership experience in Collections within the vehicle segment (finance company, bank, automaker or related operations);
- Experience in vehicle recovery, repossession and resale;
- Deep knowledge of collections cadence, KPIs and performance management;
- Experience in operational transformation and organizational design;
- Strong leadership skills, decisiveness and stakeholder management.
- Experience building or transforming digital collections operations;
- Background in technology applied to debt recovery;
- Experience developing data-driven models and automation;
- Experience working in high-complexity, high-growth environments.
