About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Develop, refactor, and maintain complex features that impact multiple platform modules: Finance, Purchasing, Sales, Tax, and Accounting
Translate the impacts of the Tax Reform into software architecture and ensure end-to-end compliance of business rules
Analyze execution plans, create indexes, handle deadlocks, and optimize SQL Server queries for tables with millions of rows
Use AI tools for legacy code refactoring, test creation, code reviews, and productivity improvements
Build and optimize internal and external integrations, ensuring resilient, fast, and secure communication within the ERP ecosystem
Investigate and resolve complex incidents escalated by Level 3 Support by analyzing logs, running diagnostic queries, and fixing issues that affect customers

Requirements

What you’ll need

Strong, proven experience developing the core of management systems (ERPs)
Minimum of 5 years of proven experience programming in PHP
Focus on high availability, clean code, and design patterns applied to complex systems
Advanced knowledge of SQL Server optimization
Knowledge of modeling, concurrency, locks, and performance strategies for very large databases
Clear understanding of current tax business rules and the impacts of the Tax Reform (IBS/CBS and the transition)
Practical experience using AI code assistants such as Gemini CLI, Claude, and GitHub Copilot
Experience with cloud environments
Proficiency with version control using Git/GitHub
Knowledge of CI/CD and deployment pipelines
