About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead, develop and mentor a team of 8–10 developers across different seniority levels
Keep the development pipeline for Service Invoices (NFSe) active, stable and uninterrupted
Continuously evolve the ERP Services module with new features
Maintain close collaboration with the Support team to ensure excellent customer service
Ensure quality and predictability of deliveries, minimizing rework
Define the technical strategy for the Services module, including NFSe, invoicing and integrations
Analyze requirements and propose scalable, sustainable and resilient solutions
Plan and execute refactorings and architectural improvements
Evaluate and recommend technologies aligned with business goals
Ensure security, performance, compliance and maintainability of solutions
Enforce strict coding standards, code review and structured best practices
Ensure high coverage of automated tests and a clear Definition of Done
Guarantee delivery quality and eliminate rework and production bugs
Provide clear technical and intuitive UX documentation
Communicate status, risks and impediments to the IT Director
Work with Support, Product and Business teams to understand needs and prioritize initiatives
Translate technical decisions into language accessible to non-technical stakeholders
Manage realistic expectations for timelines and effort
Monitor the roadmap, production bugs and time-to-resolution
Run structured retrospectives and implement continuous improvements
Mentor junior developers with the goal of promoting them to senior level within 12 months
Demonstrate measurable results in quality and customer satisfaction

Requirements

What you’ll need

Minimum 5 years in software development using structured methodologies
At least 3 years of proven technical leadership experience (Tech Lead, Tech Manager or similar)
Experience managing technical teams with accountability for results
Experience maintaining and evolving critical production systems
Experience with ERP, complex legacy systems or financial solutions is a strong differential
Solid PHP 7+
SQL and relational databases, preferably SQL Server
Version control with Git (GitHub/GitLab)
REST and SOAP APIs; integrated systems architecture
System integration and data synchronization
Development of billing solutions, NFSe or similar
Tax regulations and compliance, including NFS-e legislation
Understanding of revenue flows and financial audit
Experience with ERP-specific languages (ABAP, AdvPL, Harbour) is desirable
Experience with agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) is desirable
Docker and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions) are desirable
Cloud knowledge (AWS or similar) is desirable
Linux and shell scripting are desirable
Advanced automated testing is desirable
Formal experience in mentoring and developing technical leaders is desirable
Background in change management and digital transformation is desirable
Leadership by example, accountability, clear communication, decision-making under pressure, ownership mindset, empathy, teaching ability and proactivity
