About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Ensure operational excellence, stability, and growth of Omie’s financial services ecosystem.
  • Lead operations for the Omie Cash digital account and other financial products, manage relationships with BaaS partners, and drive customer retention through a seamless and secure financial experience.
  • Incident Management: Lead contingency planning and rapid resolution of operational failures in payments, PIX, boletos (payment slips), and transfers.
  • BaaS Partner Management: Monitor SLAs (Service Level Agreements), API stability, and report friction points to Banking-as-a-Service providers.
  • Customer Retention and Engagement: Analyze digital account usage data to develop strategies that reduce churn and increase transacted volume (TPV).
  • Risk Mitigation: Oversee compliance rules, fraud prevention, and regulatory security integrated with the Omie ERP.
  • Team Management: Develop the internal team responsible for second-line support and financial settlement.
  • Performance Metrics (KPIs): Monitor system availability metrics, average handling time (AHT), retention rate, and transactional efficiency.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, Technology, or a related field.
  • Fintech Experience: Proven background in payment services, sub-acquiring, digital banks, or BaaS platforms.
  • Crisis Management: Hands-on experience leading and resolving critical systemic incidents in real time.
  • Product and Business Mindset: Ability to translate operational issues into product improvements and improved customer journeys.
  • Data-driven Culture: Proficiency with analytical tools for tracking transactional journeys (e.g., SQL, Power BI, advanced Excel).
