About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Develop and implement robust data architectures that support business and analytics needs.
Design and manage databases, data warehouses and data lakes.
Define standards and best practices for data management and data governance.
Collaborate with IT, engineering and product teams to ensure efficient integration of data systems.
Ensure the quality, integrity and security of stored and transmitted data.
Participate in big data and predictive analytics projects, providing technical guidance and leadership.
Monitor data system performance and perform continuous optimizations.
Document the data architecture and related processes, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.
Support the resolution of complex data issues and the implementation of scalable solutions.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems or related fields.
Proven experience as a Data Architect or in similar roles.
Experience designing and implementing SQL and NoSQL databases.
Strong knowledge of big data technologies (Databricks, Amazon Redshift, Elasticsearch, Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, etc.).
Experience with ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) tools.
Skill in data modeling and schema design.
Deep understanding of data governance and data protection regulations (LGPD, GDPR).
Effective communication skills and the ability to work in a team.
Analytical thinking and the ability to solve complex problems.
