About the role

  • Create and maintain test plans;
  • Design and execute tests (functional, integration, API, backend);
  • Work daily to promote quality as a culture, preventing bugs from occurring rather than only detecting them;
  • Assist the team in the product quality assurance process;
  • Prepare and manage test data sets to evaluate product performance and processing capabilities;
  • Manage defects during development and beta phases;
  • Support the PM and UX teams with a high-level business perspective;
  • Validate artifacts (functional and non-functional requirements, layouts, usability tests, among others);
  • Align quality strategies based on data (monitoring, Service Desk issues);
  • Perform regression testing.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of testing methodologies, tools, and techniques;
  • Familiarity with a programming language (preferably JavaScript);
  • Knowledge of databases;
  • Experience with integration/API testing (Postman, HTTParty, etc.);
  • Experience with source control/versioning (GIT);
  • Non-functional testing experience (load, stress, etc.);
  • Willingness to learn every day;
  • Comfortable working in a dynamic, multitasking environment;
  • Comfortable working with a results-oriented mindset (delivery targets);
  • Able to work independently without constant supervision — proactive and self-motivated.
