Design, implement, and support AWS-based data architectures for production environments
Support and troubleshoot production data services, ensuring high availability and performance
Work with AWS services such as S3, RDS, DynamoDB, Redshift, Glue, EMR, Athena, Kinesis, and Lambda
Ensure data pipelines and platforms follow AWS best practices for security, scalability, and reliability
Implement monitoring, alerting, and logging for data workloads
Optimize cloud costs related to data storage, processing, and data pipelines
Collaborate with application, DevOps, and data engineering teams to resolve production issues
Document architectures, runbooks, and operational procedures

Requirements

10+ years of strong hands-on experience with AWS cloud services, with a focus on data services
Experience supporting production data platforms on AWS
Good understanding of data pipelines, ETL/ELT, and streaming concepts
Knowledge of AWS security best practices, IAM, encryption, and networking fundamentals
Experience with monitoring tools such as CloudWatch and logging solutions
Experience with real-time or streaming data (Kinesis, Kafka, MSK)
Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (CloudFormation, Terraform)
Experience working in Agile environments
