About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Take on various tasks in IT administration for MS Windows servers and clients as well as mobile devices (Apple iOS and Google Android)
  • Implement system extensions and adjustments
  • Serve as the first point of contact for colleagues to resolve incidents in 1st- and partly 2nd-level support
  • Handle incoming customer requests
  • Ensure smooth onboarding of new colleagues and setup of users and devices
  • Assist users with the use of software and hardware
  • Document and track support requests in the Jira ticketing system
  • Escalate complex problems or systems to the responsible specialist departments
  • Document processes, system adjustments, and changes in Atlassian Confluence
  • Maintain progress updates in our Atlassian Jira ticketing system

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Completed vocational training in IT, e.g., as an IT specialist for system integration or equivalent qualification
  • Experience with ticketing systems such as Atlassian Jira
  • Knowledge of server administration and network environments
  • Terms such as “DNS, Active Directory/LDAP, WireShark, PowerShell or OSI model” should not be foreign to you
  • Practical experience operating MS Windows servers is an advantage
  • Experience in IT support or help desk roles
  • Technical affinity and a certain curiosity
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Service-oriented work approach
  • Driver’s license (category B or class 3)
  • Willingness to travel for regular regional assignments
  • Good German and English language skills
  • Strong team and communication skills
