About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Support the team with administration of MS Windows servers and clients
Act as first point of contact for colleagues and resolve incidents in 1st-/2nd-level support
Ensure smooth onboarding of new colleagues and set up users and endpoints
Assist users with software and hardware usage
Document support requests in the Jira ticketing system
Escalate complex issues to the responsible specialist departments
Ensure reliable operations through IT documentation in Atlassian Confluence and Jira

Requirements

What you’ll need

Completed vocational training in IT (e.g. IT Specialist in System Integration) or an equivalent qualification
Experience with ticketing systems (e.g. Atlassian Jira) and remote support tools
Knowledge of server administration and networking environments
Familiarity with terms and tools such as DNS, Active Directory/LDAP, Wireshark, PowerShell, and the OSI model
Experience operating MS Windows Servers is an advantage
Technical affinity and interest in new IT technologies
Strong problem-solving skills and a service-oriented working style
Valid driver's license (class B or former class 3)
Willingness to travel for regular regional assignments
Good German and English skills
Strong team and communication skills
