About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support the team with administration of MS Windows servers and clients
  • Act as first point of contact for colleagues and resolve incidents in 1st-/2nd-level support
  • Ensure smooth onboarding of new colleagues and set up users and endpoints
  • Assist users with software and hardware usage
  • Document support requests in the Jira ticketing system
  • Escalate complex issues to the responsible specialist departments
  • Ensure reliable operations through IT documentation in Atlassian Confluence and Jira

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Completed vocational training in IT (e.g. IT Specialist in System Integration) or an equivalent qualification
  • Experience with ticketing systems (e.g. Atlassian Jira) and remote support tools
  • Knowledge of server administration and networking environments
  • Familiarity with terms and tools such as DNS, Active Directory/LDAP, Wireshark, PowerShell, and the OSI model
  • Experience operating MS Windows Servers is an advantage
  • Technical affinity and interest in new IT technologies
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a service-oriented working style
  • Valid driver's license (class B or former class 3)
  • Willingness to travel for regular regional assignments
  • Good German and English skills
  • Strong team and communication skills
