Key responsibilities & impact

Take on various tasks in IT administration of MS Windows Servers and clients as well as mobile devices (Apple iOS and Google Android)
Implement system expansions and adjustments
Serve as the first point of contact for colleagues for incidents in 1st-level and, partly, 2nd-level support
Handle customer inquiries
Ensure smooth onboarding of new colleagues and set up users and devices
Support users with software and hardware usage
Document support requests in the Jira ticketing system
Escalate complex problems or systems outside the area of responsibility to the relevant specialist departments
Document processes, system adjustments and changes in Atlassian Confluence
Maintain progress of work in the Atlassian Jira ticketing system

What you’ll need

Completed vocational training in IT (e.g., IT Specialist for System Integration) or an equivalent qualification
Experience with ticketing systems such as Atlassian Jira and remote support tools
Initial knowledge in server administration and networking
Familiarity with terms and concepts such as DNS, Active Directory/LDAP, Wireshark, PowerShell and the OSI model
Operational experience with MS Windows Servers is an advantage, as is experience in IT support or a help desk
Technical affinity and curiosity for new IT technologies and topics
Strong problem-solving skills and a service-oriented work approach
Driver's license (category B or Class 3)
Willingness to travel for regional assignments
Good German and English language skills and strong team and communication abilities
