About the role

  • Preparation and ownership of complex execution schedules, including determining the level of detail and description for activities and resources for overhead line projects
  • Scheduling during the tendering phase
  • Project-related updates of schedules including resource monitoring
  • Preparation of variance analyses and identification of corrective measures to safeguard the final completion date
  • Joint definition of project structures with project stakeholders, identification of the critical path, dependencies and lead times
  • Integration of third-party schedules into a master schedule
  • Participation in construction and scheduling meetings with clients and project managers
  • Responsibility for and assurance of quality standards in schedule management, including regular project risk analysis
  • Consolidation of individual schedules for OHS in-house services into a division-level schedule
  • Compliance with the requirements of Omexom Hochspannung GmbH’s IM system and active participation in the continuous improvement of all business processes
  • Execution of assigned special tasks

Requirements

  • Successfully completed degree, preferably in Civil Engineering, or an equivalent qualification
  • Several years of professional experience in construction project management, preferably in the execution of high-voltage projects with a focus on scheduling, schedule control and monitoring
  • Experience coordinating interfaces with typical technical and project-specific disciplines
  • Professional proficiency with MS Project and/or Primavera and very good skills with MS Office
  • Class B driving licence and strong advisory and communication skills
  • Willingness to travel (during the probationary period 2–3 days per week; thereafter as required and by arrangement)
  • Fluent German (business fluent)
