About the role
- Support and advise our Business Units on all commercial and financial matters.
- Responsible for the monthly "BU checks" and for reviewing relevant key figures with the branches.
- Review project and overhead costs, overdue receivables, investments, and results.
- Prepare variance analyses and contribute to the preparation of the monthly financial statements.
- Monitor the budget and personnel costs and prepare quarterly forecasts.
- Report directly to the Head of Finance.
Requirements
- Degree in Business Administration (BWL), Industrial Engineering, or a comparable commercial qualification.
- Solid experience in corporate controlling, ideally supplemented by knowledge of project controlling.
- Confident user of MS Excel and strong analytical thinking skills.
- Practical experience with SAP is an advantage.
- Basic knowledge of financial accounting is a plus.
- Strong communication skills, team spirit, and a reliable working style.
- Very good written and spoken German and English.
