About the role
- You plan routes for overhead lines and cable corridors, shaping the energy landscape of the future.
- You support project management in the technical execution of high- and extra-high-voltage overhead line and underground cable projects.
- You perform mechanical calculations for conductors and line hardware (e.g., sag and tension calculations) to ensure safe and stable overhead lines.
- You prepare route planning and permitting documentation, including quality assurance.
- You work closely with internal and external stakeholders, such as authorities and permitting bodies.
- You ensure compliance with quality and environmental requirements.
- You adapt planning documents flexibly to changing project conditions.
- You take responsibility for risk management and resolve issues that arise during the project.
Requirements
- You have a degree in surveying, geography, civil engineering or a related discipline.
- Alternatively, you hold vocational training or a technician qualification plus relevant professional experience.
- Professional experience is a plus, but career starters may also apply.
- You have experience with routing/route-planning software such as FM‑Profil or Seil++.
- You have (initial) experience using QGIS and AutoCAD.
- You are a team player with strong communication skills.
- You work independently and have a structured approach.
- You have very good German language skills (at least C1).
- You are willing to travel occasionally on business and hold a Class B driving license.
