About the role

  • You plan routes for overhead lines and cable corridors, shaping the energy landscape of the future.
  • You support project management in the technical execution of high- and extra-high-voltage overhead line and underground cable projects.
  • You perform mechanical calculations for conductors and line hardware (e.g., sag and tension calculations) to ensure safe and stable overhead lines.
  • You prepare route planning and permitting documentation, including quality assurance.
  • You work closely with internal and external stakeholders, such as authorities and permitting bodies.
  • You ensure compliance with quality and environmental requirements.
  • You adapt planning documents flexibly to changing project conditions.
  • You take responsibility for risk management and resolve issues that arise during the project.

Requirements

  • You have a degree in surveying, geography, civil engineering or a related discipline.
  • Alternatively, you hold vocational training or a technician qualification plus relevant professional experience.
  • Professional experience is a plus, but career starters may also apply.
  • You have experience with routing/route-planning software such as FM‑Profil or Seil++.
  • You have (initial) experience using QGIS and AutoCAD.
  • You are a team player with strong communication skills.
  • You work independently and have a structured approach.
  • You have very good German language skills (at least C1).
  • You are willing to travel occasionally on business and hold a Class B driving license.
