About the role
- Assume the governance function for the project organization
- Further develop the existing review process
- Select and implement a project management software
- Contribute to the further development of existing Project Management standards
- Organize and conduct trainings
- Establish standards for project audits and health checks, as well as internal reporting
- Validate project metrics against budgets, schedules, and other contractual obligations
- Develop and follow up on action plans with the business units
- Ensure compliance with defined processes for project reviews
- Act as a partner to project managers and project controllers on projects with special requirements
Requirements
- Successfully completed degree (industrial engineering, business administration, or equivalent), ideally with relevant professional experience
- Experience in project management is desirable; certification in common project management standards such as PRINCE2, GPM, PMI/PMP, or ITIL is an advantage
- Experience in contract management and claims management is desirable
- Knowledge of project planning software (e.g., MS Project) is desirable
- Excellent German language skills, both written and spoken
- Confident use of MS Office and ERP systems (preferably SAP)
- Knowledge of project planning tools such as MS Project, Primavera, Jira, Polarion, or similar is a plus
- Independent, goal- and result-oriented, and structured way of working
