About the role

  • Development, planning and implementation of offshore wind projects (national/international)
  • Preparation and specification of logistical concepts for the wind farm
  • Execution of Technical Due Diligence processes
  • Evaluation of technical concepts and installation methods for offshore wind projects
  • Support in the development of the department, particularly with regard to offshore wind farm development projects
  • Preparation of tenders
  • Support during technical contract negotiations for logistics and installation scopes
  • Identification and coordination of technical interfaces and risks
  • Support for scheduling and client reporting
  • Handling of relevant customs processes and technical contract management
  • Ensuring compliance with permitting and certification requirements (national/international)
  • Preparation of technical documentation and ensuring contractual conformity of technical documentation
  • Oversight of execution works (installations and commissioning offshore)
  • Participation in industry working groups and research projects (e.g. WAB)

Requirements

  • University degree in engineering with a focus such as Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering or related fields
  • Three to five years of experience in project management in the renewable energy sector
  • Basic knowledge of applicable standards and relevant guidance documents
  • Familiarity with the current state of the art/technology
  • Excellent written and spoken German and English; Chinese language skills preferred
  • Reliable, structured working style and process-oriented thinking
  • Willingness to travel (domestic/international) and willingness to undertake offshore assignments (if required)
