About the role
- Participate in the development, planning and implementation of offshore wind projects (national and international).
- Serve as the technical lead for the wind turbine scope—from contract negotiation through execution of the turbine supply agreement to handover to the operations party.
- Schedule planning, budget control and interdisciplinary coordination of the team.
- Ensure that health, safety and environmental (HSE) regulations are observed in all phases of the project.
- Carry out technical due diligence processes for offshore wind projects.
- Contribute to the identification and management of technical risks (internal and external), issues and project impacts.
- Prepare technical documentation (specifications, processes, concepts).
- Ensure compliance with permitting and certification requirements (national and international).
- Support contractual conformity of technical documentation.
- Accompany execution works (offshore installations and commissioning) and, where required, perform acceptance inspections.
- Participate in industry working groups (e.g., WAB) and research projects.
Requirements
- Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Wind Energy Technology, Industrial Engineering or a comparable qualification.
- At least 3 years of professional experience, ideally in project management for infrastructure or energy projects, preferably in offshore wind engineering.
- Solid knowledge of large electrical or mechanical systems, combined with up-to-date market and technology awareness.
- Team player with excellent intercultural communication and organizational skills.
- Willingness to travel for international assignments and offshore deployments as required.
- Fluent German and English skills (spoken and written).
