About the role
- Independently design and calculate steel structures and foundations for overhead line masts (110 kV to 380 kV).
- Produce and review construction/execution drawings with a strong attention to detail, ensuring all technical and safety-related requirements are met.
- Prepare tender documents and actively support project acquisition.
- Draft system diagrams, review workshop/shop drawings and approve them for implementation.
- Coordinate closely with clients on technical details to ensure smooth project execution.
- Actively contribute to the energy transition in Germany and help shape the future of sustainable energy supply.
Requirements
- Degree from a university or university of applied sciences in Civil Engineering with a focus on Structural Engineering (Konstruktiver Ingenieurbau) or a comparable qualification.
- Experience in structural design and static/structural calculations with an emphasis on steel construction, reinforced concrete and geotechnical/foundation engineering, preferably in the field of overhead lines or related infrastructure projects.
- Good knowledge of AutoCAD and MS Office.
- Experience with structural analysis software such as RSTAB, RFEM or similar tools, as well as familiarity with relevant design codes, is advantageous.
- Fluent German language skills, both written and spoken.
