About the role
- Take on the independent responsibilities of a Specialist for Occupational Safety in accordance with legal and company requirements.
- Support the preparation of risk assessments and the associated work and operating instructions for the on- and offshore area.
- Ensure the flow of information to all employees regarding existing HSE regulations and communicate changes in safety and emergency procedures.
- Independently advise and support the implementation of HSE objectives and programs.
- Create training and instruction materials and actively support the delivery of training sessions.
- Conduct regular inspections at workplaces onshore and offshore.
- Share responsibility for HSE system development, tracking and documenting HSE-related incidents.
- Ensure integration of regulatory approval requirements and act as interface to authorities and customers.
- Prepare HSE-related documents for reporting and presentations.
Requirements
- Successfully completed technical university degree, master/technician certification or a comparable qualification, preferably in electrical engineering.
- Further training as a Specialist for Occupational Safety is desirable.
- Professional experience in occupational safety, preferably in offshore wind or electrical engineering, is ideal but not a prerequisite.
- Good knowledge of the relevant legal requirements.
- Process-oriented thinking, confident and persuasive demeanor, and strong team and communication skills.
- Proficient communication skills in German and English, both written and spoken.
- Willingness and qualification to participate in international and offshore assignments.
