About the role

  • Contribute to the development, planning and implementation of offshore wind projects (national/international)
  • Develop and finalize logistical concepts for the wind farm
  • Perform technical due diligence processes and evaluate technical concepts and installation methods
  • Support the development of the department, particularly with respect to offshore wind farm development projects
  • Prepare tender documents
  • Support technical contract negotiations for logistics and installation scopes
  • Identify and coordinate technical interfaces and risks and assist with scheduling and client reporting
  • Manage relevant customs procedures and technical contract administration
  • Ensure compliance with permitting and certification requirements (national/international)
  • Prepare technical documentation and ensure contractual compliance
  • Support execution activities (offshore installations and commissioning)

Requirements

  • University degree in engineering with a focus such as mechanical, electrical, civil engineering or a related discipline
  • Three to five years of project management experience in the renewable energy sector
  • Basic knowledge of applicable standards and relevant guidance documents
  • Familiarity with the current state of the art/technology
  • Very good German and English skills, both written and spoken; Chinese is a plus
  • Reliable, structured working style and process-oriented thinking
  • Willingness to travel (domestic/international) and availability for offshore assignments (if required)
