About the role
- Responsibility for the financial performance of the business unit with 80 employees.
- Management of the division with attention to market developments and trends.
- Technical direction and further development of the business unit.
- Professional and disciplinary responsibility for employees.
- Monitoring and control of the project portfolio's results.
- Acquisition of new innovative projects and development of sustainable customer relationships.
- Responsibility for workforce planning of the business unit.
- Ensuring occupational health & safety and quality management.
Requirements
- Degree in civil engineering, electrical engineering, energy engineering, utility/grid construction or a comparable qualification/degree.
- Several years of professional experience in construction-related project business.
- Several years of leadership/management responsibility.
- Entrepreneurial mindset and approach; team player; confident; service-oriented; resilient; strong decision-making and communication skills.
- Proven experience independently acquiring new clients and projects, negotiating proposals and closing contracts.
- Several years of cost-center and Profit & Loss (P&L) responsibility.
- Good knowledge of MS Office; experience with SAP is desirable.
- Fluent German (written and spoken); English skills are a plus.
