About the role
- Parameterization and testing of digital protection relays/devices in medium- and high-voltage installations, as well as commissioning of primary and secondary systems for energy utilities
- Commissioning of control systems (SCADA) and preparation of technical reports
- Evaluating and analyzing circuit-design project plans
- Systematic troubleshooting of faults in electrical installations
- Close collaboration with our project teams, grid operators and clients
Requirements
- With a successfully completed degree in electrical engineering, power systems, energy engineering, renewable energies, an engineering degree with a focus on electrical engineering, or a qualification as a state-certified technician/master with equivalent credentials, you possess the required know-how
- Additionally, you have initial professional experience in commissioning protection systems as well as primary and secondary equipment
- You also have experience — for example as a protection technician or commissioning engineer — working with protection devices, industry-standard software and relevant test equipment
- Good knowledge of substation control systems (station control/SCADA) and an understanding of the structure and operation of medium- and high-voltage switchgear would be desirable
