About the role
- Execute and ensure accurate revenue recognition practices, aligning with ASC 606 and other applicable accounting standards.
- Contribute to enhancing revenue accounting processes, leveraging technology to improve efficiency and compliance.
- Assist in evaluating complex revenue transactions and ensure accurate accounting treatment and adherence to policies.
- Perform close management, including balance sheet reconciliations and income statement flux analysis for revenue transactions, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data.
- Partner with finance, sales, legal, and other departments to support business initiatives and ensure accurate revenue forecasting and reporting.
- Work with internal and external auditors on revenue matters, ensuring adherence to all relevant accounting standards and audit requirements.
- Provide insightful revenue reporting and analysis to senior management, supporting strategic decision-making and performance evaluation.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, economics or related field
- 5+ years of experience
- ASC 606 understanding
