About the role

  • Acts as key contact to the sales force for the preparation, execution, and management of Leveraged Contracts.
  • Conducts contract strategy discussions ensuring the best viable solution for the customer and Olympus.
  • Validates and qualifies all contract proposal requests performing 360 view of customer and taking into consideration existing contract portfolio.
  • Reviews all contract proposals submitted enforcing business policies on discounting, pricing, promotions, and other related policy.
  • Prepares contracts for customer presentation ensuring Olympus integrity of terms and conditions, pricing and product is accurate and precise.
  • Supports contract redlining/legal negotiation efforts and applies changes to Terms & Conditions in accordance with common modifications provided by legal team.
  • Performs cross checks and audits of all executed leveraged contracts.
  • Understands ERP system functionality for items assigned to contracts, pricing, ensuring integrity of contract dates and accuracy of product numbers and associated codes.
  • Manages and prepares contract assessments as they relate to terminations, and amendments ensuring all policies and appropriate guidelines apply.
  • Understands viable end of term contract options that follow appropriate guidelines
  • Works with management to track and report on departmental activity as it relates to ensuring consistencies and efficiencies, while supporting key KPIs.
  • Works with Department and Management on updates needed for contract templates, forms, and other related tracking sheets used to support the pre-award execution of contracts.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Associate degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration or a combination of 3 years in education and experience in contract administration.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.
  • Must be highly organized, detail-oriented, and results-driven.
  • Must have the ability to solve a problem and negotiate in a complex and dynamic environment.
  • Must be self-directed and creative.
  • The ability to multi-task is essential.
  • Must have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft applications (i.e. Word, Excel,) is necessary.
  • Must be able to interact with multiple audiences such as field personnel, Marketing, management, and customers.
  • A Bachelor’s degree is strongly preferred.
  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience in sales support, finance or contract administration role is strongly preferred.
