About the role

  • Contribute to our mission by helping your department complete key projects
  • Support and enhance auditing processes and reporting capabilities
  • Frequently engage with various departments to contribute to finance-based projects
  • Support department budget analysis, reporting, and portfolio modelling
  • Identify gaps in sponsorship and consulting fee reporting
  • Identify departmental risks and communicate options to mitigate these risks
  • Ensure Olympus takes all appropriate steps to abide by state and federal laws
  • Collaborate with your supervisor and team to complete role-related assignments and projects
  • Actively engage in and add value to meetings and discussions
  • Engage in other duties, as necessary

Requirements

  • Must be enrolled in a full time undergraduate or graduate degree program at an accredited 4-year institution
  • Preferred fields of study include Finance, Accounting, or similar business-related discipline
  • Must complete two (2) years of undergrad before the internship begins and graduate after the internship ends
  • Must not now or in the future require immigration-related sponsorship
  • Demonstrated ability to balance academic and extracurricular commitments (i.e. work experience, clubs, volunteer activities, teams, etc.)
  • Experience with the fundamental principles of finance and/or accounting
  • Must possess excellent analytical and organizational skills
  • Must be proficient and have practical working knowledge in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Must be able to work well within a team and independently at times with limited guidance
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic and deadline-driven environment (preferred)
  • Strong, professional communication skills (preferred)
  • Skilled in presentation development and public speaking (preferred)
  • Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize/execute multiple concurrent tasks (preferred)
  • General curiosity and a desire to learn new material (preferred)
