About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide clinical, clerical, and administrative tasks in an OMP outpatient clinic
- Perform duties under the supervision and direction of a physician, advanced practice clinician, or Medical Office Nurse Coordinator
- Deliver care and services consistent with Medical Assistant education, training, experience, and certification
Requirements
What you’ll need- High school diploma/GED required
- Completion of a Medical Assistant program accredited or approved by the Washington Department of Health required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 30 days of hire
- Current Medical Assistant certification issued by the Washington State Department of Health; status may be approved, interim, or pending under the stated conditions
- One year of outpatient clinic healthcare experience preferred
- Experience specific to the type of clinic being hired for preferred
- Perform duties consistent with Medical Assistant education, training, experience, and certification
