About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide clinical, clerical, and administrative tasks in an OMP outpatient clinic
  • Perform duties under the supervision and direction of a physician, advanced practice clinician, or Medical Office Nurse Coordinator
  • Perform duties consistent with Medical Assistant education, training, experience, and certification

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High school diploma/GED required
  • Completion of a Medical Assistant program accredited or approved by the Washington Department of Health required
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 30 days of hire
  • Current Medical Assistant certification issued by the Washington State Department of Health; approved, interim, or pending status accepted under stated conditions
  • One year of outpatient healthcare experience preferred
  • Experience specific to the type of clinic being hired for preferred
